Dr. Sunil is a leading educationist, professor, and entrepreneur affiliated with New York University, specializing in microfluidics, artificial intelligence, and thermodynamics. His pioneering research advances microfluidic platforms and AI-driven workflows for applications in healthcare and bioengineering. He holds multiple patents and maintains global collaborations that drive innovation and translation of emerging technologies.

Dr. Sunil earned his BTech degree from IIT Kharagpur, Master’s degrees in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley. He was trained at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, worked with NASA, and later served as Dean of the School of Engineering at NYU. Dr. Sunil has secured many SBIR NSF grants, and authored numerous high-impact publications.
