
Dr. Suresh is an accomplished academic leader and entrepreneur with extensive expertise in immunology, infectious disease modeling, and AI-driven drug discovery and development. He earned his PhD from the University of Glasgow and pursued advanced training at the University of Nottingham, UK.
Dr. Suresh previously served at Penn State University and is currently Professor and Chair of the Infectious Disease Biology Program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health. An inventor of multiple translational technology platforms for diagnostics and therapeutics, he is dedicated to advancing human-centric drug testing and vaccine innovation. Dr. Suresh holds numerous patents, prestigious awards, and substantial NIH, USDA, and NSF grants, alongside high-impact publications.
